Position Overview

This individual will support engineering activities by constructing, testing and maintaining electrical systems, boards and components for our cutting edge radar measurement and analysis systems. This individual will work from schematic diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and troubleshooting functions. They will be expected to know and use measuring and diagnostic tools in support of their tasks. This individual will assemble prototype electronic boards, subassemblies, electro-mechanical assemblies and systems in applications which include both analog and digital subsystems. This person will be expected to be creative with regard to improving the process, yet be disciplined when performing routine and repetitive tasks.

This individual will support all aspects of embedded software development for radar systems, to include signal and data processing on embedded systems, design and implementation of interfaces, and porting algorithms to real-time targets. This individual will be part of a team of engineers who are responsible for design, development, integration, troubleshooting and support of electronic and embedded designs for our cutting edge radar measurement and analysis systems. This position is responsible for realizing creative solutions to electronic design problems given high-level requirements. Primary job functions include the design and code of embedded system software for FPGAs and microcontrollers as well as supporting software drivers. As part of the Product Management team, you will be instrumental in ensuring that the products we build exceed our customer's expectations. You will work closely with the engineering and product teams on a wide variety of projects with a particular focus on understanding the 'big picture' of the integrated measurement systems we build and their application to our customers' use case.
